2020 Registration Information

2020 ALLEN PARK BULLDOG FOOTBALL AND CHEER REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Welcome to Registration for the 2020 Allen Park Bulldog Football and Cheer Season!

The club will not be doing online paperwork for registration this year, all paperwork must be submitted in hard copy.

Veteran Mail-in Registration will begin on Sunday, March 8, 2020 and end on To Be Determined.  To ensure a seamless registration process, please be sure to complete all necessary paperwork in it's entirety.  Attached are the required documents needed to register your child(ren) for this season (2020 Registration Form, 2020 Medical History Form, and Parent & Player Concussion Info Sheet).  Those registering a cheerleader will also need to sign a 2020 attendance policy.  A copy of a parent or guardian's photo ID is required to establish residence status, please include with registration paperwork.  Please mail your paperwork to:

Veteran/Sibling Walk-in Registration will be on To Be Determined at The Shack within Cunningham Park.  The attached paperwork is also required at this registration (2020 Registration Form, 2020 Medical History Form, and Parent & Player Concussion Info Sheet).  Those registering a cheerleader will also need to sign a 2020 attendance policy.  A copy of a parent or guardian's photo ID is also required to establish residence status.  Veteran Siblings that are new to the club will be required to present a birth certificate with seal, a copy of which will be made.

Walk-in Registration for Allen Park Residents (excluding Northern Allen Park/Melvindale) will be on To Be Determined at The Shack within Cunningham Park.  The attached paperwork is also required at this registration (2020 Registration Form, 2020 Medical History Form, and Parent & Player Concussion Info Sheet).  Those registering a cheerleader will also need to sign a 2020 attendance policy.   We will require a photo ID to establish residence status, a copy of which will be made.  We will also require registrants to present a birth certificate with seal, a copy of which will also be made.  This registration will be on a first come, first served basis.

Open Walk-in Registration (if necessary) will be on To Be Determined at The Shack within Cunningham Park.  The attached paperwork is also required at this registration (2020 Registration Form, 2020 Medical History Form, and Parent & Player Concussion Info Sheet).  Those registering a cheerleader will also need to sign a 2020 attendance policy.  We will require registrants to present a birth certificate with seal, a copy of which will be made.  This registration will be on a first come, first served basis in the following order:

1. Club or League veteran and Allen Park resident (excluding Northern Allen Park/Melvindale)
2. Allen Park resident (excluding Northern Allen Park/Melvindale)
3. League veteran and Allen Park School attendee (requires DJFL waiver* signed by principal, a copy of which is attached; includes private schools)
4. Allen Park School attendee (requires DJFL waiver* signed by principal, a copy of which is attached; includes private schools)
5. League veteran, in good standing with the DJFL and their Home Club (requires DJFL waiver* signed by "Home Club")
6. Others (League “Home Club” roster is full-requires DJFL waiver* form signed by "Home Club" OR no League “Home Club” within city of residence)
*Please note in these instances the attached DJFL Waiver - Exemption Form is required for registration.

Registration Costs are as Follows:
Football (ages 8-13): $185.00
Cheer (ages 8-13): $185.00
Mascot/Ball Boy (age 7): $125.00
(League Age is as of September 1, 2020)

Multiple Child Discount:
2nd Child: subtract $30.00
3rd Child+: subtract $40.00
(Discounts will go by age, oldest to youngest)

Cash will not be accepted for registration payments.  Please make checks or money orders payable to Allen Park Bulldogs.  Veteran Mail-in Registration payments can be made online on the club's website www.AllenParkBulldogs.com (please note there is a processing fee of 3.30% + $1.35).  If paying online during Veteran Mail-in Registration, please note that when mailing in paperwork so that payment can be confirmed.  During the Walk-in Registrations, credit/debit card payments will be accepted (please note there is a processing fee of 3%).

Sports Physicals are not required at registration but they are required no later than the first day of practice.  Sports physicals must be completed in the 2020 calendar year but not later than the first day of practice.

Anyone that will be coaching during the 2020 season will be required to complete a Coach's Contract, a copy of which is attached.  Coach's Contracts are also required for all of our board members, junior coaches, photographers and weigh masters.  Junior coaches are also required to fill out all the same registration paperwork required of our football players and cheerleaders.  Junior coaches must have sports physicals, birth certificates and parent/guardian photo ID's as well.

Please note that this information is based on the league's current registration policies.  Changes to the registration process could be made by the league.  If changes to the registration process are made, notifications will be sent out promptly.
